I’ve been thinking for some time about getting a leaf blower and so as a birthday present to myself I decided to bite the bullet. As always I did lots of research, weighed up the options and eventually ordered a Stihl cordless blower. It is more powerful than I imagined and when blowing leaves from the slate chippings it will easily move the chippings.
With so many trees around the house the autumn is a constant battle to keep the paths and lawns leaf free. Raking is good for fitness but it’s quite time-consuming and really boring. A gadget always makes a job more fun. There is a definite technique to using it and I haven’t perfected it yet. Sometimes the leaf monster is settling behind me while I’m chasing leaves in front. I can see I’m going to have a lot of fun. I still have to bag the leaves up but that doesn’t take long.
