The new Mazda CX5 has arrived home. I’m so pleased with the colour, the ride, the technology, my first automatic and the anticipation of the pleasure it will give me over the coming years.
There are more bells and whistles than any car I’ve ever owned. Apart from the rear view camera which is quite basic on cars these days it also has warnings if you stray from your lane without indicating; there’s a warning light on the wing mirrors if there’s a car in your blind spot; it has voice control on the media system; and adaptive speed control so that when travelling on the motorway I can set a speed but if the car in front slows down then I slow down too.
All this technology doesn’t remove the fun it gives when driving over the Wolds because it is fast.
I’ve never seen a colour like it. She or he is absolutely beautiful.
And if I get an email or text it reads it out to me – wow that could be annoying 😉
