We went to London at the weekend to see Jane’s mum and then stayed the night with Jane’s brother. He was exhibiting some of his photographs at the Mall Gallery so we went with him and Nicola to the opening event. Although the subject was photo landscapes Richard had bucked the trend and photographed close-ups of shells, fossils and vegetables. The depth of field and lighting was excellent.
On the way home from Islington we called in again on Jane’s mum who was ok bearing in mind she is 93 and has limited stimulation. Our Journey home was uneventful with the A1 proving to be clear of heavy traffic.
