No News Is Good News

image In the past week we’ve had a number of friends contact us worried that the last item was about the MRI and us waiting for the the results – well worry not, we met with the oncologist last Friday but she didn’t have the results and she doesn’t seem to be too concerned because Jane’s next appointment is in June. We’re currently on a train heading for the highlands of scottie land along the coastal scenic route – fabulous scenery.
We’ll let you know the MRI results as soon as we know and once again thank you for your good wishes and support.

    Hi Both
Why are you in Scotland? I thought you only went there for the Edinburgh festival. Anyway, have a great time. I have had an MRI scan, scared “sh….t..l..ss”, but with the earphones on and listening to Radio Northampton, it was actually a very relaxing 20 mins.

Now, what do you think…with so many votes/supporters will Jeremy Clarkson become the new PM in May. He has a lot of supporters and gets more Press Coverage than many of our leaders combined!

    Love

Hi Paul – you can swap notes with Jane next time you see here about your MRI experiences. We have friends who live outside Forres in the countryside with views over Scottish hillsides and woodland – truly beautiful.
As to the Jeremy Clarkson debacle – we need to be mindful that Adolf Hitler had quite a following and supporters who were prepared to abuse naysayers… See any similarities? Maybe not. I like Mr Clarkson’s work and always read his column in the Sunday Times – he’s clever and thought provoking however I’ve not time for bullies. Hope none of this is libellous or I’m in trouble. (I apologise immediately for any hurt or discomfort this may cause to anyone who is alive or dead).

I have been thinking of you both and worried we haven’t heard from you. Have a great time in Scotland. Big hugs x

    Hi
Having just returned from Italy visiting Susan and the kids I am only just catching up with your latest posts. I must admit that I would have been freaking out too if I had to have an MRI as I suffer from claustrophobia. I even got myself in a state when I realised that I had to be under a cloth tunnel when I had my cataracts done, although it was okay in the end, but I genuinely felt for Jane. I hope you don’t have to wait until June for the results but in the meantime stick with the old adage ‘no news is good news’. Have a lovely break in Scotland and I hope the weather is good for you both.
