I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue

York-river(jan15)We went to York yesterday to see I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue the Radio 4 programme that has been running for ever.

It has been sometime since we’ve visited York so we found it interesting walking around the city centre, raising a few hopes in the shops. It was a cold and very windy day with the river so high that it had overflowed the banks in certain places. Jane’s photo depicts the bleakness really well.

isihac-york(jan15)We stayed in a very pleasant coaching inn, The Seahorse Hotel, just around the corner from the Barbican Theatre where the performance was taking place. It was very reasonably priced, included breakfast and the accommodation was clean and comfortable so it suited our needs very well.

The show lived up to our expectations and although it wasn’t being recorded it was a very funny performance. Sandi Toksvig was brilliant keeping the whole thing together.
