Happy Christmas

Christmas doesn’t get better than this. After a casual start to the day we Skyped, phoned, texted or emailed everyone important to us and then got on with opening the masses of presents which were superb. Then a walk around Market Rasen with Dave & Lucie.

Jane made a superb Christmas cake which she kept topping up with Cherry Brandy over the course of a week and so I tried a sliced after our walk. It was delicious and I cannot wait until there’s a chance of another slice. Dinner at Dave & Lucie’s along with Nick & Val – a very special Christmas Day in so many ways.
