We had Graham and Sue staying with us over the past few days and we managed to pack in a great deal as usual.
On Friday we went to Lincoln Christmas Market which is a major event and draws people from all over the country. We arrived just after 10 and started the stroll around the many various stalls which were very interesting even for someone like me who has a limited interest in anything Christmassy. My right knee is still giving me a problem but I managed to hobble around thanks to Ibuprofen. I did start to struggle as we got to 4pm and the drugs were wearing off but bearing in mind we’d been on our feet for nearly six hours I wasn’t doing too badly.
On our way out to dinner at the Red Lion Jane took this photo of Market Rasen town square which had a brass band and all sorts of stalls. Not too shabby for the town.
As part of the “grand tour” we took Sue & Graham to Donna Nook to see the seal cubs then on to Sutton on Sea where there is this wonderful antiques emporium, unfortunately it was closed for the winter. We also visited Alford windmill and the pottery unfortunately the pottery was closed for lunch. Our guests started to think that Lincolnshire was closed for the winter.
