For Jane another year has passed and so we found ourselves celebrating her birthday in our temporary home. She had very many cards and good wishes from all her friends and ex work colleagues back in Northamptonshire.
She spent half the morning emailing her thanks to everyone and chatting on the phone to friends both home and abroad. We drove over to Market Rasen for a meal out in one of the local hostelries with our soon to be neighbours.
As someone pointed out, her next birthday will be celebrated in our new home and we are certainly looking forward to that.
Belated happy birthday to Jane from us both.
