The superb weather means I spend a great deal of time out in the MX5 with the roof down. On Tuesday morning I drove back from Mary’s at 7 am with the roof down – it was a beautiful morning.
I’ve travelled over 5,000 miles in the MX5 in the past 6 months which is twice as many miles as I covered in the Lotus in 12 months. It’s fast and sensible unlike the Lotus which was just fast.
The garden continues to surprise me – this rose has been hiding and I’m sure it didn’t flower last year. Jane and I didn’t like roses but there are a few in the garden that were gifts from people over a number of years. The garden is a constant reminder of Jane and the hours she put into filling it with beautiful things in her final 18 months.
I looked back to June 2015 when Jane was still working in the garden – click here for a reminder… This years show of foxgloves should be equally good.
