Just when we think nothing else can go wrong we find the leak from the bedroom balcony into the living area that had been “fixed” has now returned in a different place. We did have a violent thunderstorm last Thursday but the house should stay dry.
We’re in the situation where the builders rightly say they built what had been specified in the design and the timber frame company are denying responsibility so we’re looking to the architects to cover the cost of the remedial work. We don’t hold out much hope but we know it has to be fixed and soon.
We had a number of visitors over the weekend and each reminded us what a lovely home we have which was very good for us because we’ve tended to focus on the things that are not right rather than all the very good things.
