Our day-to-day lives like everyone else bounce along. Maisie brings great joy to us and her antics are sometimes very funny however there are times when she can be a right pain (such as when she scratches the carpet or the furniture).
You can see from the expression on Jane’s face how much fun Maisie can be and she knows how to be cute, sitting with her paws up on the back of the kitchen chair. (That’s Maisie not Jane, although she’s cute too)
She does love to go out into the garden and get wet, pick up leaves in her long fur and also the odd slug which gives us a problem getting them out – that also applies to Maisie.
Out in the garden the lilies that Jane planted in pots have started to flower. Some have been attacked by bugs but this is inevitable when we have so many trees.
Jane has planted out more lettuce and has been giving away the surplus crops of runner beans, lettuces and courgettes. The neighbours are getting to enjoy our vegetable patch.
