Jane went to see her oncologist today. All is going well and she continues with the chemotherapy for the rest of her life or if the cancer progresses again or she has a reaction to the treatment.
When asked what would happen if it did progress Doctor Intrivici was quick to say that she had another drug that she would apply. She also said that she expected Jane to continue with the chemotherapy for years. The word “years” was music to our ears because it gives more hope for the future than we have felt in many months. Jane can now eat normally, travel on public transport but must avoid unhealthy environments – keep away from people with colds, coughs and flu.
Next week Jane has another CT scan and an echocardiogram to monitor her health.
Some nice positive news for you both, good old Dr Intrivici!
