It’s good to have builders with a sense of humour.
We have agreed a moving date of 22nd April which is the Tuesday after Easter. This is now an unmovable date and the builders have agreed that all the internal elements will be ready however there may still be some landscaping to be done. This is reassuring however we went to see the chap making the stairs to discuss the fine detail and he hasn’t even started yet. He isn’t even sure how it will be constructed. He asked us to take some photos and measurements when we were next in the house which didn’t fill us with confidence.
After so many months living in limbo we are looking forward to getting out of Manor Farm and into our own (real) home.

I don’t think Pete the Polish tiler knew me in my youth and so that is really spooky. In fact I had a full head of hair before we started this project but look at me now!!!
