We’ve been so absorbed with packing that we haven’t had the time to focus on the building however one of our friendly builders went onto site last Saturday (5th October) and photographed progress. The chaps who have been constructing the timber frame were putting the final touches to the build and on Monday (7th October) the construction would be signed off.
We have had a dispute with FrameWise because the external membrane is not the same as specified and there are some panels with significant tears but we’ve been reliably informed that this has largely been rectified. The next stage is for the roof tiles to be laid but we’ve heard there may be some supply issues.
