Atrium Lighting

Z:ProjectsCurrent2257 - Nick Wright - Fairfields4. RIBA WorkThe atrium lighting has been through several iterations but we are nearly there.

It is very difficult to imagine how it will look, how many lights will be needed and where will the first light starts and the last light ends.

Our architect, James, has been very supportive and happily put this scale diagram together even using images of us.

Are you sure you will get enough daylight into your stairwell………! You must get out of the habit of wearing coats, hats and boots indoors, you’ll be much too hot in a modern house.

    • We were so concerned about it not being light enough we had extra Velux windows put into the roof (electrically operated of course).
The coats, boots and hats are a sure sign that our architect has a sense of humour – with under-floor heating in the atrium we’re certain it won’t be too cold.
