The house build is moving along quite quickly now however we’re still waiting for a few external doors and a window to be installed. The floor downstairs still needs to be finished and the radiators fitted out. The builders and plumbers were advising us that we should have under floor heating however after nearly coming to blows, arm wrestling and spinning a two pound coin five times we agreed to go with radiators with some kickspace heaters under the kitchen units. We are still talking to each other after this tough decision, even if it’s through gritted teeth.
The tarmac element of the drive was laid yesterday, Friday 7th February, and when all the landscaping work has been completed blocks will be laid on top of the tarmac. Looking good!
